The One Book a Month Challenge

Welcome to my site! I hope you’re ready to follow me on my 1 book a month for 3 years challenge!

This has been a dream a long time in coming. I’ve read many, many fantasy books over the last 30 years, sometimes 3 or more a week! And year after year, that nagging voice in my head grows louder until now I can barely sleep through the racket.

Dream chasing can be hard but ignoring those dreams is worse because you feel like a shell of yourself.

I’ve chased many dreams and can see now that anything is possible. The one biggest dream I’ve had all these years, however, I’ve ignored largely due to time, belief in myself, and uncertainty about what truly makes me happy.

After all these years of reading obsessively, luckily, my ability to write super fast, mostly error-free, and hopefully even keeping a reader’s interest has grown. No longer will I need to struggle to finish one manuscript!

So, I’m finally rolling up my sleeves and dusting off my old manuscripts to write, edit, and publish 1 new book each month to be published exactly on the 1st of each month, starting on April 1st!

These will not be super long books, possibly be closer to novelettes, but that is my starting point and my goal – for 3 years on a row!

I’ve published 1 book so far and I totally dropped the ball on it, getting too frustrated trying to find a real agent and a real publisher. That dream has moved on now at last. I know I can do this on my own, and why not? The reality is no one is coming to make my dreams happen for me – all I have is me. And all you have is you.

I hope my stories inspire you and motivate you to be more of who you truly are and reach your highest potential!

A Little About Me

I have started my own blog where I write about wilderness survival, homesteading, foraging, herbal medicine, and raising 3 wild kids plus I teach in-person and online foraging and herbal medicine classes. In person classes are in Richmond, Virginia.

For fun, I play in our backyard woods and garden with my 3 wildlings and 2 dogs, stalking an albino deer and her mom and sister, and teach my kids wilderness survival skills.
